Key Features Of The Skippa Mobility Scooter

Super lightweight and easy to disassemble

As you can see the construction of the Skippa has been kept to a minimum in order to make it easy to handle and to make it easy to transport.

This type of scooter are also known as a 'transport scooter' or a 'boot scooter'.

The reason for this is that a smaller scooter such as the Skippa is designed to go for short trips, such as around the shops.

The idea is that the scooter is placed in the boot of the car, which is then driven to the spot where you will be using the scooter.

For this reason the scooter needs to be easy to assemble and dissemble as required, and the Skippa is no exception.

When the various parts are taken apart they take up very little room and the heaviest piece weighs only 16kg (2½ Stone).

There are even carry handles on the rear chassis making lifting the various parts of the scooter simple and straightforward.

Puncture Proof Tyres For Peace OF Mind

As a scooter is your method of mobility, the fear of getting a puncture and leaving you stranded can be stressful.

To counter this the Skippa comes with four 8” puncture proof tyres, ensuring a stray piece of debris on the floor won’t immobilise you.

They are also ‘soft roll’ tyres to help give you a smooth ride.

Adjustable To Suit You

Everything about the driving position on the Skippa is adjustable, from the angle of the tiler (the central steering wheel column) to the height of the captain seat and even the height of the armrests.

The more comfortable you are when you use a scooter the more in control you will be, in turn causing you to drive safer.

Thanks to its low profile it is easy to step onto and the armrest flip upwards allowing you open access to the seat

The central control itself is called a Delta tiller’.

This is an industry standard design which allows you to rest your hands and arms whilst riding whilst keeping you in total control.

Great Safety Features

Remaining safe is the most important aspect of riding a scooter.

To help you with this the front and rear of the scooter is illuminated with bright lights to help you be seen by all users of public highways.

Rear anti-tip wheels will help prevent dangerously overbalancing backwards

A variety Of Colours To Choose From

Who says mobility scooters have to be boring? The Skippa comes available in seven different bright shroud colours match your style!

Whether you fancy it in Candy Pink or Capri Blue or a more subdued Diamond Black or Graphite Grey, there is sure to be a colour to suit you!
