**Please note that a range is to be used as a rough guide only. The reason for this is because this figure is so variable and dependent on such a wide variety of factors that it is difficult to give a figure which is applicable to everyone.

This figure will depend on a host of factors, including whether you go up slopes on your route, the terrain you ride on, how well the battery has been cared for, how old the battery is and the load weight placed on the scooter itself.

Key Features Of The Invacare Mobility Scooter

It's Easy To Take With You In The Car

A so called ‘boot scooter’, this model features something known as a ‘Litelock’ system which means the whole thing is incredibly easy to dismantle whilst remaining perfectly sturdy and secure whilst assembled.

This system is ‘tool free’ so it can be performed as and when required wherever you are.

The scooter splits down into the whole front section, the rear wheel section, the seat, the battery pack and the front basket in under a minute thanks to this system, making this one of our most efficient boot scooters.

Another way it helps with transportability is in its overall extreme lightness.

As you can see it has a sparse but strong design which can support a user with an upper weight limit of anything up to 136kg (which is nearly 21.5 stone) even though the heaviest part when dismantled is only 15.6kg (just under 2.5 stone).

The overall weight even including the 12Ah batteries is a mere 44kg (6.9 stone).

It's Easy To Operate

The shape of the handlebars have been specially designed to prevent fatigue on the hands and wrists as they allow you to rest them whilst still letting you comfortably and safely operate the scooter.

The seat has been designed to aid with general comfort as it is nice and padded in order to give you great protection from bumps and it can also swivel around to help make easing on and off as easy as possible.

If you suffer from problems with mobility then getting on or off any kind of seat can be problematic so this will make regular use of your scooter easier to use on a day to day basis.

The seat can also be adjusted in height to help you operate the controls easier by letting your hands rest on the bars in a way which feels natural and easy.

Because of its compact size and tight turning circle the Calibri is one of the best scooters to take you around the shops whilst its non-scuffing tyres will give you confidence to turn around on whatever style of floor the shop have installed.

It is very important that you keep the Colibri as dry as possible in order to help maximise battery life and to help keep dirt and grit away from its movable parts.

For this reason you are able to recharge the battery both attached and detached away from the main chassis depending on how you wish to store it when not in use.

Why not try before you buy?
